The newly published "Access Conditions for Foundry Industry" has made clear the access conditions for foundry industry in ten aspects: construction conditions and layout, production technology, production equipment, enterprise scale (capacity/output value), product quality, energy consumption, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, labor protection, personnel quality, supervision and management. Definite provisions.

Among them, in terms of construction conditions, the "Access Conditions for Foundry Industry" clearly stipulates that foundry enterprises in scenic spots, nature reserves, water sources and other areas (first class) requiring special protection designated by the competent departments of the State Council and the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall not be recognized; in the second and third categories, foundry enterprises shall not be recognized. Discharge standards and disposal measures of various pollutants (air, water, boundary noise, solid waste) from new (expanded) foundry enterprises and original foundry enterprises in districts (other than those in the first class districts) shall conform to the national and local environmental protection standards.

At the same time, the newly published "Access Conditions for Foundry Industry" has improved the output value and minimum annual productivity of new (expanded) foundry enterprises. Among them, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong, Hebei, Liaoning, Hainan and other existing cast iron, cast steel, aluminium alloy, copper alloy and other non-ferrous metal enterprises should not produce less than 30 million yuan, while new (expanded) foundry enterprises should not produce less than 70 million yuan, and other areas are now in operation. The output value should not be less than 20 million yuan, and the output value of new (expanded) construction should not be less than 70 million yuan.

In terms of scale, the scale of new (expanded) cast iron, cast steel, copper alloy and aluminium alloy enterprises has also been greatly increased. Among them, the minimum annual productivity of cast iron, cast steel, aluminium alloy, copper alloy and other foundry enterprises in the second and third categories should not be less than 10,000 tons, 8,000 tons, 3,000 tons and 1,000 tons respectively. Compared with the existing foundry enterprises, the minimum annual productivity has been significantly increased.

With the advent of the new "Access Conditions for the Foundry Industry", we can clearly see that the requirements for the foundry industry have been further improved, mainly from the perspective of environmental protection. Foundry industry, as a highly polluted industry, has great damage to the environment. Improving the entry threshold of foundry industry and strengthening the transformation and upgrading of foundry industry are a major aspect of environmental protection. The state will be more and more vigorous in this regard.
